Richard Townsend looks at the latest edition (4th Edition) of the IET’s Code of Practise for In-Service Inspection and Testing of Electrical Equipment, which has the aim of helping to prevent unacceptable practise in PAT:

The fourth edition to The IET’s Code of Practise for the In Service Inspection and Testing of Electrical Equipment has been written to emphasise the need to risk assess the requirement for any inspections and tests. This PDF document, presented as a flipbook ijn Voltimum UK’s Flipbook Library, explains all this and more in an article originally published in the IET’s in-house publication, Wiring Matters (Autumn 2013 issue).
