Report non-compliant product
If you encounter or suspect the trade or use of counterfeit electrical installation products, we advise you make contact with the manufacturer whose original product has been counterfeited. They may be able to find out whether the product is counterfeit or not, and take appropriate action.
You can also use the form below to inform us. If you want us to contact you, please include your email and/or telephone number. Your details will be kept strictly confidential. We will contact the appropriate original brand owner company or organisation for the product, whilst you can remain anonymous if preferred.
Alternatively, you can report it to Trading Standards on via the Citizens Advice Consumer Advice website www.adviceguide.org.uk or call the Citizens Advice consumer helpline on 08454 04 05 06.
Please remember that COUNTERFEIT can KILL, so it is important that you notify somebody as soon as possible if you suspect counterfeit electrical goods are being sold or used in the UK or Republic of Ireland
