Amendment 3 to the Wiring Regulations is now published and it includes an important new regulation, that requires consumer units and similar switchgear, for use in domestic household premises, to have their enclosures manufactured from non-combustible material or be enclosed in a cabinet or enclosure constructed from non-combustible material and to comply with BSEN 61419-3.
